Bred Ewes For Sale

We have decided to cut numbers even deeper on the number of ewes, that we are going to run going into 2018 at our Hays Brothers farm in Perry, KS. Work and the travel involved and the older kids in college and younger ones a bit too young to lamb out 70 ewes, it was decided to keep only 25 head to lamb out. We got rid of the culls at the sale barn, sold 12 ewes early on and now we have approximately 25 more bred ewes that we are offering for sale. Included are 7 ewe lambs, 4 that were exposed to Omaha and 3 that we did not expose. There are 5 older ewes that includes Peterbilt's Mom, a full sib to Gauge, Ewe out of Gauge's twin sister, ewe that is full sib to HB 14-17 (Grand Champion Hampshire Breeding ewe 2018 NAILE Jr Show), and a ewe that we have takin a buck lamb to MWSRS the past 3 years. 2 younger ewes that have MWSRS bucks that sold for $1,500 + each. Maternal sister to HB14-17 and also, a grand daughter of Poe 7232 who had a daughter that was very successful at NAILE. I, also, believe a ewe thats wether lamb was 2nd in class 3 or the 2017 Texas State Fair. We cut deep, there are some I should probably be keeping, and probably some I am keeping, that I should be selling.

There are ewes sired by Poe's Bullet, Yoyo, Ambush and a couple ewe of Johnny Cakes (Shroyer) and Something Else (Greiner). These are genetics that have worked for me. The ewes were sheared in mid October and preg checked a little over a week ago (mid November).

They are bred to TRex (8)(Johnny Cakes X YoYo - Game Face's maternal sister) , Omaha (Garret buck X Doc Holiday daughter), Bullet (3), YoYo (1), and Slurpee (1) (YoYo x Bullet x YoYo) keeper buck.
